a. We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God,
without error in the original manuscripts, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of
man, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and practice; (* II Timothy 3: 16,
17; * II Peter 1:20,21; * Romans 15:4).

b. We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, infinitely Il-erfect and eternally
existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; * Genesis. 1:1; Exodus 20:2; *
Deuteronomy 6:4-5; * Isaiah 40:25-26; * I Corinthians 8:4,6; * I Timothy 2:5-6;* James 2: 19).

c. We believe that Jesus Christ is the true God and true man, having been conceived of
the Holy Spirit and born ofthe Virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, in His miracles, in
His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, inHis
ascension to the right hand of the Father, where He serves as our High Priest and Advocate, and
in His personal return; * Matthew 1 :18;* Luke 2:7;* John 14:3,20:19-20; * Acts 1:11;* Romans
3:23-25;* II Corinthians 5:21; * Ephesians 1:20,21; * Hebrews 5:5,7:24-25).

d. We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age convicts
men of sin, regenerates the believing sinner and indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the
believer for godly living and service. All who believe in Christ are baptized by the Holy Spirit
into the Body of Christ; * John 14: 15-18, 16:5-11; * Romans 8:9-11; * I Corinthians 2:10, 11; *
II Timothy 1 :7).

e. We believe in the reality of Satan (* Matthew 4: 1; * Mark 1:13;* Luke 4:2;* Luke
22:3) and a host of fallen angels (demons) ;(* Matthew 8:16; * Mark 1:32; * Luke 4:41). These
principalities and powers currently purpose to oppose the realized and future Kingdom of God,
His Church and each individual believer; * Romans 8:38-39;* Ephesians 6: 11-12; Colossians
2: 15; * I Peter 3:21, 22; 5:8-9; Philippians 2: 10; * II Corinthians 11:14;*1 Corinthians 7:5; *
Mark4:15).

We believe in the current victory over these forces, for the Church and for the individual
believer, in and through the Name ofJesus Christ ;(* James 4:7; * John 17:11). We believe in the
ultimate and sure defeat and condemnation of these evil beings, for all of eternity, at the time
God so chooses; * Roman 16:20; * Revelation 20:7-10).

f. We believe that a person's salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ, and through none
other. We believe Jesus Christ is God's exclusive and gracious provision for the redemption of
sinful mankind. We believe that salvation originates in the grace and love of God. Salvation is
accomplished through the vicarious (substitutionary) and atoning death of Jesus Christ. Salvation
is conveyed to all humanity through the ministry of the Holy Spirit; (* Ephesians 2:8-9).

g. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto
the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation; (* Luke 14:14;*
ICorinthians 15:22; *Revelation20:5-6, 12-15).

h. We believe that the Scriptures teach that sanctification begins at Salvation and is the

means by which, according to the will of God, we are made partakers of His holiness and that
it is progressively manifested in the lives of believers by the presence and power of the Holy
Spirit, as they practice and yield to the means of grace; (* Romans 12:1,2;* I Corinthians 1:2; *
Ephesians 5:26, 27;* Philippians 1:6;* Colossians 3:9-10; *1 Thessalonians 523-24; * Titus

2:14; * Hebrews 13:20-21).

i. We believe that the preservation of the unity ofthe Spirit in the bond of peace in the
body of Christ is a scriptural principle that is achieved through edifying, upbuilding, encouraging
and stimulating one another to good deeds in Christ;(* John 17:6-26; * Philippians 11 :27-28; *
Hebrews 1024).

j. We believe that the Lord's Supper and Water Baptism are Holy Ordinances to be
observed by the Church during this present age. They are not however, to be regarded as a means
of salvation; (* Matthew 28: 19-20; * I Corinthians 11 :23-26).

k. We believe that God has established marriage as being "for life", and an exclusive
relationship between one man and one woman, and that all intimate sexual activity outside the
marriage relationship, whether heterosexual, homosexual, or otherwise is immoral, and
therefore, a sin. (Genesis 2:24; Exodus 20:14, 17; Leviticus 18:22-23,20:13,15-16; Matthew
19:4-6; Romans 1:21-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10,15-20). We believe that God created the human
race, male and female, and that all conduct with the intent to adopt a gender other than one's
birth gender is immoral, and, therefore, a sin. (Genesis 1 :27; Deuteronomy 22:5).
